2nd Annual Unmask the Violence Event - October 14, 2011

On Oct. 14th, Next Step Ministries hosted our second annual Unmask the Violence Event, a fundraiser at the Harmon House Events Center, Kernersville, NC. The event featured delicious slow-cooked pork barbeque roasted on the property, live entertainment, and a silent auction. Attendees purchased tickets for the meal and there was free admission to the silent auction and entertainment. Proceeds from this event went towards helping meet the costs of running our safe house and providing services to those in need.

The winner of the original painting raffle was Ronnie Breidenbacker of Kernersville. She bought her winning ticket at the Thrift Store. The print depicts a woman leaving a domestic violence situation. The original painting is by artist, Patti H. Sheets. Congratulations to our winner!
